Our Mission:
To promote community awareness, contribute to the Symphony Society’s financial strength, and provide volunteer support to the Symphony Society and the world-class music it presents.
Celebrating 60 Years of Classical Music is the Guild’s theme for 2011-2012 and with all the exciting events planned for this year, we are sure to end on a high note in our support of the Daytona Beach Symphony Society. Please join us for an enjoyable experience, working as a volunteer and participating in many of our diverse activities. Some planned events include two luncheons, a tea, and several cultural excursions. Guild volunteers participate in fund raisers and monthly meetings with fine musical entertainment. You will also receive 10 newsletters each year.
Membership in the Guild enables you to meet new friends … and continue the support of great music!
Guild Meetings:
General meetings are held the first Monday of October, December, January, February, April, and May. These meetings begin at 10:30 a.m. and are in the Peabody Auditorium, Rose Room. Parking is free in the Peabody VIP parking lot.
This is a time for wonderful homemade refreshments; fabulous complimentary coffees and lattes, donated by Espresso Etc!; shopping for exquisite accessories at the Symphony Boutique; and conversations with old and new friends. There is a brief business meeting followed by an outstanding musical program. All are welcome. For information call the Guild President, Sandra Gosch at 386.682.4712.
