The mission of the Symphony Guild of Daytona Beach is to promote community awareness, contribute to the Symphony Society's financial strength, and provide volunteer support to the Symphony Society and the worldclass music it presents.
We invite you to enjoy the 60th Symphony Season as you Join us on a High Note at our monthly Guild Membership Meetings, the Daytona Beach Symphony Society performances and the many events listed on the Season On a High Note Calendar shown on this page. We are proud to contribute to the Symphony Society's impressive array of concerts, events and community outreach programs.
This season, the Guild will sponsor the Symphony Boutique, monthly meetings and concerts, educational projects for youth, fall and spring luncheons, excursions on land and sea and the ever popular Parties of Note. We are co-sponsoring a Silver Bell Tea with the Museum of Arts and Sciences (MOAS) Guild during their Festival of Trees.
The Symphony Guild meets at 10:30 AM on the first Monday of each month from October through May in the Peabody Auditorium Rose Room. At each meeting, members and their guests have an opportunity to socialize over specialty coffee from The Coffee Man and breakfast treats prepared by our hospitality committee. The meetings include opportunities to volunteer for special events and fundraisers, to shop at the Symphony Boutique and to sign up for cultural excursions. Our business meetings are followed by concerts that showcase the talent of performing artists and outstanding music students in Central Florida.
The entire Guild membership invites you to join our organization. Special thanks go to our very dynamic board: Cory Sinkeldam - Symphony Boutique, Bev Senko - Program, Mary Duckett - Newsletter, Sharon Phelps - Publicity, Pam Elkins - Hospitality, Mary Lou Deeley - Parties of Note, Sue Patneaude - Parliamentarian and Betty Ruddock - Winterfest Pendant.
